About This Role

We need a part-time prep cook to work mornings (7:00 AM - 1:00 PM) getting our kitchen ready for lunch and dinner service. This is a great entry-level position for someone who wants to learn restaurant cooking from the ground up. You will wash and chop vegetables, portion proteins, make sauces and dressings from our recipes, label and date everything per food safety guidelines, and keep the walk-in cooler organized. The work is repetitive but it matters because every dish that goes out starts with your prep. No kitchen experience is required, but you need to be comfortable on your feet for six hours, able to follow written recipes precisely, and serious about cleanliness. We will help you get your food handler's card if you do not have one.
