About This Role

We are looking for a Shift Manager to run front-of-house and back-of-house operations during evening service at our Midtown location. You will be the person in charge when the General Manager is not on site. Your responsibilities include opening or closing the restaurant, managing a team of 8-12 servers and cooks, handling customer complaints, monitoring food quality and safety compliance, counting the cash drawer, and making sure the restaurant is spotless before you lock up. When someone calls in sick, you figure out coverage. When the kitchen gets slammed, you jump in and help. Ideal candidates have at least two years of restaurant experience, including some supervisory responsibility. You need a ServSafe Manager certification (or willingness to obtain one within 30 days of hire). Strong communication skills and the ability to stay calm during a rush are essential.
