Employers may also see aggregated profile data if you make your profile discoverable through our candidate discovery features.

With other users as you direct

Your profile is visible to the extent you choose to make it visible. Company reviews you post are public. Messages you send to other users are visible to those users.

With service providers

We work with third-party processors who help us run the Service, including email delivery, cloud storage, error monitoring, analytics, and infrastructure hosting. These providers only receive the information they need to perform their functions and are required to protect it.

For legal reasons

We may disclose information when we believe in good faith that disclosure is required by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request, or is necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of Train and Hire, our users, or the public.

In a business transfer

If Train and Hire is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, information about you may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you if your information becomes subject to a different privacy policy.

6. Third-Party Services

We rely on a small number of third-party processors to operate the Service. These include providers for transactional email, file storage and delivery, error tracking, and web hosting. The specific providers may change as our stack evolves. In all cases, we select providers that commit to industry-standard security and privacy practices, and we only share the data each one needs to do its job.

7. Cookies and Tracking

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, maintain session security, and understand how the Service is used. You can configure your browser to refuse cookies, but some parts of the Service may not function properly if you do.

We do not use cookies to build advertising profiles. We do not participate in cross-site behavioral advertising.

8. Data Retention

We keep your information for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When you delete your account, we remove or de-identify personal information that we no longer need, subject to backups and audit logs that may persist for a limited time.

Some records, such as anonymized usage statistics, may be retained indefinitely in a form that does not identify you.
