Coaching and assisting patients with the six core ADLs (bathing, dressing, toileting, transferring, continence, feeding) and understanding IADLs (finances, shopping, medication management, transportation, meal prep, housework, phone). Covers the four assist levels, adaptive equipment selection, the let-them-do-what-they-can principle, documenting functional status, and when to escalate a decline to the RN case manager.
