Fiber and CO2 laser cutting of sheet and plate in a modern fab shop. Covers tight nesting to maximize yield, assist gas selection (N2 for clean oxide-free edges on stainless and aluminum, O2 for thick carbon steel), pierce cycles that don't blow the nozzle, edge quality and dross control, and beam alignment and lens cleanliness on machines that cost more than a house.
