Certified Nursing Assistant

Riverside Health is hiring CNAs for our medical-surgical and long-term care units across the Charlotte area. You will provide direct patient care under the supervision of registered nurses. Your daily responsibilities include helping patients bathe, dress, and eat, taking and recording vital signs, answering call lights, assisting with ambulation and transfers, changing bed linens, and documenting patient intake and output. You will typically care for 6-8 patients per shift and work closely with nurses, therapists, and physicians as part of the care team. You must hold a current CNA certification in North Carolina (or be eligible for reciprocity). We hire new graduates from approved CNA programs and provide 90 days of mentored orientation. Shift differentials are available for nights and weekends. This position is the first step for many of our RNs who started their careers here.
