Patient Care Technician

We are looking for Patient Care Technicians to join our emergency department and acute care teams. PCTs at Riverside perform an expanded scope of duties beyond traditional CNA work, including EKG testing, phlebotomy, and specimen collection. In this role, you will take vital signs, draw blood, perform 12-lead EKGs, collect urine and wound specimens, assist with patient transport, and maintain equipment in patient rooms. The emergency department is fast-paced, and you need to be able to prioritize tasks, communicate clearly with the nursing team, and stay composed in high-stress situations. Candidates should have at least one year of direct patient care experience (CNA, medical assistant, or equivalent). CNA certification and BLS certification are required. Phlebotomy experience is preferred but we will train the right candidate.
