About This Role
Our Quality team needs an inspector to verify that automotive parts meet customer specifications before they ship. You will use calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and go/no-go fixtures to measure critical dimensions on stamped and machined parts.
You will pull samples from production runs, document measurements in our quality management system, flag out-of-spec parts, and work with production supervisors to identify root causes when defects trend upward. When a customer complaint comes in, you will help investigate and write corrective action reports.
We need someone who can read blueprints confidently, is comfortable with basic math including fractions and decimals, and has a sharp eye for detail. Experience with SPC (statistical process control) charts is a plus but not required.
