About This Role
Golden Plate is hiring line cooks for our flagship Nashville restaurant. You will work the grill, saute, or fry station during high-volume dinner service, preparing dishes according to our recipes and plating standards.
During a typical shift, you will prep your station before service, cook entrees and sides to order, communicate with the expeditor to keep tickets moving, and break down and clean your station at the end of the night. We serve Southern comfort food, so expect to work with a lot of cast iron, open flames, and real butter.
You should have at least one year of kitchen experience, a current food handler's card, and the ability to stay organized when tickets are stacking up. We offer a meal every shift, flexible scheduling, and a clear path to sous chef for people who show leadership.
